Madison Square is a great pattern for working in an intuitive approach.  Using two color families, along with a neutral background color, the pattern makes up to a 50" X 60" quilt. Our sample uses a graduated hand dyed fabrics, giving a nice selection of  values for each color family. We have specially hand dyed kits to complete the quilt in the colors used in our sample.  The quilt could be sewn in a variety of colors, using our graduating hand dyed panels. Madison Square Kit

One of our favorite patterns, the Buttonhole quilt sews up quickly and accurately.  The first images is a quilt sewn with  two bundles of fat 1/4s (14 pieces each) which easily completed the  quilt top.  One bundle  for the back of fat 1/4's was used for the quilt back  (an additional 2 meters of fabric is required for the border and binding)

This great wallhanging can be made into any width or height, by simply making the fabric strips wider or longer.  We cut ours 44" long (selvage to selvage) and 12" wide.  The assembly of this quilt is simple: lay two fabrics lenghtwise, so they overlap by approximately 3-4"  Then cut a gentle wavy edge, cutting through both fabrics at the same time.  These are then sewn together with a 1/4' seam.  Full directions for this technique are found in the pattern.

Eclipse - dupioni silk, pattern available

We have just received a large selection of dupioni silks in a range of rich intense colors. The first sample, shows   what we did with the silk collection named Summer Carnival.  For this quilt, Wendy used 11 of these jewel toned fat 1/4s for the quilt. The quilt could be sightly larger if all 13 fat  1/4's from the collection were used.  Random shapes were cut and assembled into a pleasing design.  Quilting followed the geometric lines created by the shapes of the blocks. The finished measurements of this quilt are appoximately 56" X 48"
