At left are some of our knit samples for yarns found in the shop.  Our cozy Rasta cowl was knit with one skein of Rasta by Malibrigo.  Rachel cast on 64 stitches on a 10 mm circulat needle.  Knit random rows of knit stitch, purl stitch, and seed stitch until most of the skein is used, making sure to leave enough of a tail to cast off.

Our Spectra scarf is a great design by Steven West.  Our sample was knit in Berroco Ultra Alpace fine and Noro Taiyo sock yarn provided the interesting varigated color.

Jared Flood designed the Koolhaas hat knit with 3 skeins of mulberry and Merino by Diamond Luxury collection. This soft yarn is 50% Mulberry and 50% silk and comes in a wide range of colors. We used the same yarn for our Stitches own scarf: 2 skeins of Steel, 1 skein of ovory and 1 skein of black.  Cast on 26 stitches  on a 4.5 mm needle.  Alternate 2 rows of knit, 2 rows of purl and repeat.  We switched the color blocks randomly, with larger sections knit in the steel color.

Noro Taiyo sock yarn, knit with Angel by Debbie Bliss was used for this lovely scarf sample.  Information on Entre Lac stitch is available from numerous resources.
