This workshop will touch on felted cords and balls, needle felting and creating texture in the felting process. Felting with wool fibres is a satisfying and creative process. In the felted landscape course, Rachel covers the basics of making a wet felted background and then embellishing onto it to create a scene inspired by nature.

Wool roving, mohair locks, silk hankies, silk rods and cocoons can all be used to create dimension in a landscape piece.

The addition of cords, texture, beads and thread work help to make these pieces a beautiful piece of art.
